We have never been more pleased than having Batchelor Construction as our builder in River Landing, Wallace, NC. The attention to detail, completing our home in the timeframe we needed, keeping within our budget but being flexible to any additions we wanted to make, being available when we were in town and wanted a meeting, and just plain going way above and beyond anything we could have expected. We were not onsite throughout the building process, but Doug Batchelor sent us photos at every stage, and we could watch our house go from the ground up. There were never any unexpected surprises or challenges. We were new to building a custom home, so we often asked Doug for his opinion and advice. His ideas and suggestions were always spot-on and very much appreciated. When we were looking for a builder, based on the homes Doug had already constructed and the reputation he had established in River Landing, a representative from the sales office strongly suggested we meet with Doug. Two years later we still love our home, and we highly recommend Doug to anyone looking to construct a new home. When talking with others, I'm always surprised the number of homes Doug has built in River Landing. Everyone always raves about the quality of his work, and the comments & feedback are always exceptionally positive. A number of people who opted to use Batchelor Construction toured our home during and after construction, and we heard nothing but wonderful things about how lovely ours was. We pointed out some of the amazing ideas Doug had, and a few opted to have him do the same unique design in their new home. We couldn’t be happier with our experience building our new home with Batchelor Construction. What stood out most was Doug’s character, his honesty, integrity, and genuine care for us and our home. He kept his word, communicated openly, and took pride in doing things right. Building a home is a major undertaking, and having someone we could trust made all the difference. We’re grateful for his dedication and would wholeheartedly recommend him and his company.
They tackled a complicated renovation project that involved gutting a 1930's house, raising it to pour a new foundation and all the other surprises along the way. We've been in the house three years and still love it. We'd do it all over again with Batchelor Construction.
The entire process demonstrated outstanding attention, dedication, and professionalism. I appreciated how everything was handled with purpose and consistency, making the experience truly enjoyable. The result was exceptional and left a lasting sense of appreciation.
